This is HitoTsuna’s vision for the future.
For example in HitoTsuna’s birthplace, Japan, just 150 years ago wars were being fought among Japanese people. In those days, people didn’t think of themselves as “people of Japan”, they identified as members of much smaller units called han, or fiefs.
Over 100 years later, people in Japan share a common awareness of themselves as “People of Japan”.
In the same way, a transformation from a national consciousness—like Japanese, American, Chinese—to a global consciousness is surely possible. This shift to a common awareness that we are all “People of Earth” is the vision that HitoTsuna believes in.
In recent times, smartphones and social media are becoming increasingly popular and people are connecting more and more with friends. The next era may see people transcending differences in nationality, lifestyle, and beliefs to easily connect with complete strangers, because we are all “People of Earth”.
In order to realize our vision of a peaceful and harmonious planet where people can respect and value each other’s differences, we are launching HitoTsuna App—from Japan, to the world, for the “People of Earth”.
